There’s You and Me and Our Netflix Cue Makes Three

One thing that has made this relocation thing a bit easier is that we’re a happily child-free couple. That means one of many people’s major concerns when looking for a place to live, the quality of the area schools, wasn’t really on our radar. That isn’t to say that we don’t care about education and school quality, it’s just that when looking for apartments we didn’t need to immediately check out what school district it is in, so that we could begin to research test scores and after-school programs with the same intensity that we used to reserve for term papers. I completely understand why people do that, I’m just happy that we didn’t have to. Moving (even just across town) is hard enough, I honestly can’t imagine adding that additional stress to it, not to mention the challenge of helping a tiny human adjust to a place that is new to me as well.
